Our Story
The Virtual F-16 Viper Demonstration Team is one of the leading flight simulation aerobatic teams that accurately replicates the thrill and precision of the real-world aerial demonstration presented by the United States Air Force into the skies of Digital Combat Simulator. Our team is dedicated to showcasing the incredible capabilities of the F-16 Fighting Falcon, affectionately known as the Viper, the world's premier multirole fighter aircraft for the past 50 years. Through meticulously coordinated virtual performances, we replicate the adrenaline-pumping maneuvers and breathtaking displays of skill performed by our real-life counterparts. Comprised of skilled pilots and support personnel from around the globe, our mission is to entertain, educate, and inspire aviation enthusiasts by pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in virtual flight.
INFINITE FLIGHT
2017-2020
Our team's roots date back to the mobile flight simulator Infinite Flight, where 'WARWOLF' was an avid user of the simulator. He began flying the routine virtually after witnessing his first live demonstration flown by the then commander, MAJ. JOHN 'RAIN' WATERS. Several weeks of studying the parameters, researching the team, and physically practicing the profile led to the foundation of the team you see today. Our first performance was at the virtual Travis AFB Airshow hosted in December of 2017, leading to two successful virtual air show seasons on the platform. The team was a founding member of the Virtual Airshow Council, a hub for all things air show within the Infinite Flight community. Countless demonstrations were performed live in both VAC and other community held events, leading to our final performance at the largest airshow event in Infinite Flight history, the 2020 Infinite Flight International Airshow.
DCS WORLD
2020-
Our team's mission has always been to provide the most accurate, high energy, and impactful replication of the demonstration flown by the United States Air Force's F-16 Viper Demo Team. In 2020, the team was in need of a platform that would grant us the ability to execute our mission to its fullest potential. DCS World was the answer, with the most highly realistic F-16 Viper module in a flight simulator, and a platform with the ability to obtain and employ resources to achieve the desired production quality, the team has never looked back. Today, our mission remains the same. After each performance, we strive to learn from our past, improve, and continue pressing forward towards the limitless sky on our nose.
